This Picture is Irrelevant...

A little while back about 5,000 years ago when I had just went away to continue working on *ahem* “the other” series of pictures, I was just starting with Photoshop and did this picture on the side of, what I thought was, my main work as the start of, what I also thought was going to be, just another series of random pictures involving these SEGA characters which I was to release after *ahem* “the other” picture series I was working on as my main work.

Alas, this random series of pictures was never meant to be.
Instead, what you guys will get in its place is horrible horrible story(!) and pictures that connect together in relevant sequence! Oh noes!!!

Even though I try to remain neutral to self-opinion about my work, I can’t help but look at this 10,000 years later and feel proud at how well I did at keeping the lines relatively straight, despite not having:

1. Adobe Illustrator.
2. A drawing pad.
3. Knowledge or skill of how anything in Photoshop worked besides the brush tool, albeit BARELY.

I can’t say for sure, but I think it may have been this picture that inspired me to say ‘fuck the other artist!’ and try to teach myself since upon revisiting this back then I was THAT impressed with how I did the shading and line art. (Even though now I would have rolled my eyes at such a thought and called myself an amateur who doesn’t have the skill to make it big, sending myself into a spiral of depression at this criticism and later sincerely apologize to myself for such hurtful comments and have sloppy make up sex.)

Ain’t nothing wrong with that…
